As budget travelers, we loved the variety of affordable accommodation options at Boskloof Swemgat, from cozy cottages to funky chalets. The location, nestled on a farm by the Jan Dissel's River with breathtaking mountain views, was incredibly tranquil. The private swimming spots by the river were a welcome relief on hot summer days. The cottages were clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped for self-catering. The highlight for us was the jacuzzi on the stoep of Kliphuis cottage, perfect for cool nights. We also enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub at Hangnes, which offered panoramic views. Boskloof Swemgat provided a peaceful and beautiful natural retreat from busy city life.

Our family stayed at this hidden gem for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location is simply breathtaking, nestled in a forest with a river and pine trees. The rustic accommodation was perfect for us, with no need for a TV thanks to the stunning natural surroundings and WiFi for entertainment. Our kids loved swimming in the river and we all enjoyed stargazing at night. The warm and friendly host made us feel right at home. We will definitely be returning to this glorious spot.

We had a fantastic time at Boskloof Swemgat! Great value for money with charming, rustic cottages in a peaceful and picturesque location. The staff, especially Lizbie and Daniel, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Located in a beautiful mountainous area with stunning views. the natural pool was a great way to cool off on hot days. Plus, the Donkey and Zebra on the property provided some entertainment.

Paying through bank transfer from the UK was inconvenient and the owners had trouble verifying our payment. This took away from the overall enjoyment of our Easter getaway.
